Directorate General Punjab is the administrative head of the Regional Office Lahore and Sub Regional Offices (SROs) including Faisalabad, Multan, Sialkot and Gujranwala. Directorate General Punjab performs the administrative responsibilities of Finance & Accounts, HR & General Admin, issuance of Certificates of Origin, registration of Gem and Jewelry exporters and all EDF funded projects in Punjab region. Besides these it also deals with legal matters of TDAP as well as of Ministry of Commerce in Honorable Courts in Punjab. This office also supports TDAP’s Sectoral Divisions based in Karachi to manage their events in Punjab e.g. delegations, seminars, from time to time as requested
TDAP Multan was established in 1967 and its territorial jurisdiction extends over the three Civil Divisions of South Punjab i.e. Multan, Bahawalpur and D.G. Khan, along with Sahiwal district. The economy of the area is predominantly based on agriculture and agri-based industries.
